Learn to make a wood/epoxy charcuterie tray
(sometimes called a river tray)
In this class you will learn to fabricate a 9"x18" charcuterie tray using natural edged wood and colored epoxy. The class will consist of two sessions. In the first session you will prepare and place the wood in a mold, mix and dye the epoxy, and pour the epoxy river. In the second class you will de-mold the tray, plane and sand the top and bottom surfaces, square cut the tray on a tablesaw, attach handles, and apply a food-safe finish. The first session will take 3 hours to complete, the second will take 4 hours to complete. The cost for these two sessions is $250.
